You Can Help
The statistics of uncontrolled breeding of cats and dogs is horrific. Over five years one pair of dogs or cats and their offspring can produce over 11000 puppies or kittens. Sadly, the reason we don’t see this number of strays is that many die from starvation, abuse and poisoning by strychnine that is occasionally carried out by the town council.
We hope you can see the importance in helping us control the dog and cat population, not only with spaying and neutering but also education.
You can help by:
- Donating to the Corozal Animal Program
- Becoming a member of CAP
- Volunteering to help with CAP activities
- Adopting a pet
- Fostering a pet until it can be adopted
