So, you want to become a pet foster parent?
Being a pet foster parent can be a rewarding experience. You get a furry friend for companionship and the animal escapes a life on the streets while you help them get familiar with living in a home with a family.
If you decide to foster a pet with CAP you are required to:
- Provide shelter, either in your home (preferred) or unchained in a fenced yard
- Provide food and fresh water daily
- Prevent or immediately treat for fleas and ticks
- Schedule regular visits with the vet for sterilization, worming, vaccines, check ups, etc.
CAP will provide bedding, collar, leash, and food and water bowls. We will pay for vet visits and sterilization.
