Sue Paoletti
President - 2016 to present

Originally from England, Sue spent most of her life in California before moving to Belize eight years ago. Her various careers as Assistant Controller, Project Manager and Professional Organizer helps her run the Corozal Animal Program.

Linda Busam
Secretary - 2022 to present

Linda came to Belize in February, 2022 from Missouri. She spent 25 years in the medical field in Radiology, then went into Accounting and HR Management. She has a passion for pets, especially dogs.

Jeanne Hudson
CPA - Treasurer 2019 to present

Jeanne recently retired and comes to us with over 40 years of experience in public accounting. Jeanne spent many years as a community volunteer treasurer for several non-profits in Texas over the last two decades. Jeanne’s strong financial background is a great asset to our organization.

Penny Lebrun
Education Chairperson – 2016 to present

Originally from Wales, Penny spent many years in Canada and now runs Serenity Sands B&B near Corozal. Her position at CAP is educating the local youth about spaying/neutering, taking care of their pets and how to avoid dog bites.

Barbara K Newberne
Strays and Fosters Chairperson – 2017 to present

Barbara hails from Illinois where she was the owner of an in-home pet care organization for thirteen years. Barbara oversees the many requests we get to help take care of stray dogs and gets them fostered or adopted.

Alicia Broderick
Events Coordinator – 2021 to present

Alicia is from Southern California and retired from 20 years of social work. Alicia loves animals, especially dogs and has a passion for helping others. Alicia has resided in Corozal for 9 years and uses her skills and talents as a social worker for the CAP program.
